The Chinese Consulate-General in Sydney has started to accept EFTPOS payments for applications of visa, passport, authentication and notarization. Currently payments can be made by credit card, debit card, money order, company check or cash.

The Consulate is phasing out cash as a method of payment with the final date being 31^st December 2009. From 1^st January 2010, acceptable methods of payment will be credit card, debit card, money order or company check.
