On November 28, Consul General Hu Shan attended a welcoming banquet jointly held by Australian Council for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China (ACPPRC) and Australian Council of Chinese Organizations (AUSCOCO).
H.E. Hu Shan, Consul General, speaks Mr. Hu expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the NSW Chinese Community for its warm welcome. He commended the Chinese Community's great contributions to the economic prosperousness, social progress and multi-culture development, and spoke highly of its precious support to the development of original country. Hu Shan, Consul General together with NSW Chinese Community Chairman of ACPPRC Mr. William Chiu representing the Chinese Community, Mr. Henry Tsang MLC representing NSW Premier and Ms. Gladys Berejiklian MP representing NSW Leader of Opposition welcomed Mr. Hu to Other VIPs present at the banquet were Ms. Virginia Judge, Minister for Citizenship, Minister for Fair Trading, MP; Mr. Jonathan O'Dea, MP and Senior Honorary Chairperson of ACPPRC Mr. Frank Chou.
